A few things couples often want to know. Don't see yours? Just ask me directly.
Absolutely — all of the above. I've performed traditional and faith-based ceremonies, fully secular ones, interfaith and intercultural weddings, and beautifully non-traditional celebrations. Your ceremony is built around your beliefs and values, whatever they are.
Yes, wholeheartedly. Every couple is welcome and celebrated here. Love is love, and I'd be honored to be part of your day.
You'll get your marriage license from any county Register of Deeds in North Carolina before your wedding day. In NC there's no waiting period, and the license is valid for 60 days. Both partners need to be present to apply, and there's a county fee (often around $60 — check with your county for the current amount). Just bring the license on your wedding day, and I'll sign it and make sure it's returned properly.
I'm a traveling officiant based in the Harnett County area, and I happily serve the greater Raleigh and Fayetteville regions and surrounding counties. A travel fee is added to your package based on the distance to your venue — I'll always tell you that cost up front.
The earlier the better, especially for popular spring and fall weekends. That said, I do my best to accommodate shorter timelines too — I've happily said yes to couples on short notice. If your date is coming up soon, reach out and let's see what's possible.
That's my favorite part. I'll learn your story and write a ceremony that sounds like you — and if you'd like help with vows, readings, or unity rituals, I'll guide you through it. Want something more traditional instead? That's wonderful too.
No problem at all. Many couples skip the rehearsal, and I'm great at guiding the flow on the day so everything feels smooth and unhurried. If you'd like to talk through a rehearsal for a larger ceremony, just let me know.
